SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
It was recently announced that the long-running Orlando "FX" convention has moved dates and from its original 2010 date to mid-October, and is moving locations to the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, less than two miles from the Ramada Celebration Orlando Resort & Convention Center, the new home of CreatureCon. In deference to FX, CreatureCon Orlando has been rescheduled from its September dates prior to the FX dates to new dates on January 22-23, 2011. We hope you'll join us at the Ramada Celebration Orlando Resort & Convention Center in January as we kick off the Florida Convention season at CreatureCon. Stay tuned to CreatureCon.com for all the latest updates.

What is this mysterious new comic book, collectable, sci-fi, & fantasy show in Central Florida?

For seven years, Repticon has been bringing great shows throughout the Southeast to reptile and amphibian hobbyists. During that entire time, the Central Florida Fairground in Orlando has been the flagship show, running in the same location since the first year. In 2009, Herpetorama, Inc, Repticon's parent company, expanded into a new line of family-friendly entertainment events, CreatureCon. These new comic book, collectable, sci-fi, and fantasy shows are designed to delight fans of all ages while providing a great industry value for both vendors and attending guests. Our first CreatureCon show was at our home base in Orlando, full of fun at the Central Florida Fairgrounds on the weekend of May 30 & 31, 2009. The show featured a great slate of vendors and a great deal of interactive fun. Now, the Orlando show is developing further, with a new event venue suitable for a collectibles show at the Ramada Orlando Celebration in Kissimmee. New show dates are January 22 & 23, 2011. More content and great opportunities for sci-fi and fantasy fun are being planned. Please check back to this page as the show develops. We hope to see everyone at the next CreatureCon!
